Built for independent food businesses

Slap gives food trucks, carts, home cooks, cottage bakers, pop-ups, private chefs, and caterers one permanent Storefront for their food, Posts, and upcoming Appearances. We're launching first in Dallas–Fort Worth, then expanding market by market.

Built for the way customers find food now

Your best customers should not have to piece the details together.

Social posts disappear. DMs scatter the details. Likes do not tell you how much to make. Slap gives your business a permanent Storefront now and a path to paid pickup preorders when ordering opens.

A permanent home

Give every post somewhere to land.

Your Slap Storefront keeps your food, story, links, Posts, and upcoming dates together in one place people can return to.

Clear operating details

Make your next stop obvious.

Publish Appearances so customers can see exactly where and when you will be serving without digging through old posts.

A path to preorders

Plan around orders, not likes.

When Slap ordering opens, eligible Vendors can offer pickup Drops with clear quantities and pickup windows.

Made for how you actually work

From a truck window to a home kitchen to a weekend table.

Independent food businesses move. Menus change. Batches sell out. Regulars still need one reliable place to find what you are making and where you will be next.

  • One public home for your business
  • Clear dates, times, and public locations
  • Dallas–Fort Worth first, with more markets to follow

One marketplace, many ways to serve

Your setup can be temporary. Your Storefront stays put.

Slap is designed to grow with food businesses in each market, without forcing every Vendor into the same schedule, format, or sales model.

How it works

One account takes you from signup to application.

New Vendors create a Slap account and continue to the application. If you already have an account, sign in and go straight to the application.

Important offer terms

This is a planned offer. It will activate only when Slap payment processing is available and final commercial, legal, accounting, eligibility, refund, dispute, threshold-crossing, and funding rules are approved. Slap intends to waive its service, payment-processing, and tax-service transaction charges during the offer. The full payment amount, including sales tax, counts toward the $2,500 threshold. Sales tax remains payable and is still collected and remitted. Slap will publish the controlling terms and applicable post-offer pricing before activation.

Questions

What Vendors usually want to know.

These answers separate what Slap can support now from what opens with paid ordering.

Is Slap only for Dallas–Fort Worth?

No. Slap is built for independent food businesses across many markets. Dallas–Fort Worth is the first launch market, and Slap will expand market by market so each area has useful local density.

Who can apply?

Food trucks, food carts, home cooks, cottage food businesses, pop-ups, private chefs, caterers, and similar independent food operators can apply. Applications are reviewed, and listing a business type here does not guarantee approval.

Do I need a separate Vendor account?

No. Slap uses one person-level account. Create an account or sign in, then continue directly to the Vendor application with that same account.

What can I do after approval?

You can build your permanent Storefront, publish Posts, and share upcoming Appearances. Paid pickup Drops have separate eligibility and remain unavailable until Slap commerce is authorized and live.

What does the first $2,500 offer cover?

The planned offer covers Slap service, payment-processing, and tax-service transaction charges on your first $2,500 in qualifying processed volume. The sales-tax portion counts toward that volume, but the tax itself is still collected and remitted. The offer ends at $2,500 or 90 days after account opening, whichever comes first.

When does the offer begin?

The offer will activate only when Slap payment processing is available and the final eligibility, refund, dispute, threshold, and funding rules are approved. Slap will publish the controlling terms before activation.

Will my home or preparation address be public?

No private home or preparation address is published by default. Share only the public operating location or approved pickup information that customers need.

Do I have to stop using Instagram or other channels?

No. Keep using the channels that already work for you. Slap gives those posts a stable destination where people can find your business and see what is next.
